This new album, 19 songs, documents a period between 2008 and 2014, and feels like a life's work.

We brought in other musicians: some local, some from NYC, Los Angeles, Boston. These are people we've played with over the last 10 yrs. The goal somehow turned into making a testament to recording locally and looking for regional means of production.

Our fans, confidants and new friends too of the last 10 yrs, 20 yrs, 30 yrs, thru Ninja Custodian, Go To Blazes, Chin-Ho, Carrigan and others helped in finishing this project with a successful Kickstarter campaign that raised what we needed.

Origins

Our previous record is defined by rangy rock riffs spiced by saxophones provided by Dana Coley (Morphine, TWINEMEN), subtle acoustic songs peddled by the mandolin of Jimmy Ryan (Mark Spencer, Blood Oranges) help to define a broad spectrum of influence and accomplishment. The New Siberians live show expands and contracts from 3 members to five to include Rhodes piano, sometimes banjo, sometimes two guitar straight rock attack, sometimes all at once.

New Work

A decade later the same group re-doubled their output and added Ryan Power in the producer's chair along with many new Siberians who add strings, dobro, organ, horns and accordion to produce the 19 song collection called "Black Blue and White".

Future

The New Siberians are currently planning a local debut show featuring songs both past and present to celebrate this new release.
